Arrow... Great!
Ice.... Great! Finally I can see it's ice! Earth... What happened there...?
Well... um... I couldn't get the textures to animate correctly. There are only 8 frames (to save memory), and the texture made it appear to jump around.
But you are right, it doesn't look as good. I'll go back and try and figure out how to get the same texture on both sides so the animation looks correct.
Today I was glad to go back to your game in the the App Store today Chad and to see now that will 70+ reviews you're game has a 4.5/5 stars. Bought time people started to see. I love the Arrow tower design but not sure if im a fan of the pinkish purple but that's just me. Ice, very creative like love it! And earth... It's hard to say. I like the structural design but it looks so clean-cut that it doesn't even seem Earthy... if that makes sense? But the general design is pretty cool I wont lie. Keep up the hard work Chad, i hope it pays off and i know a ton of us are excited.
Thanks man! Sales have flattened out, after dipping a bit. It seems people are still buying it because of gameplay. I can't wait to see what happens when I give them what they (seem-to) want!
I'm very happy with the arrow tower. Each tower has a color theme, and the arrow tower is purple. I really like it as it is, and I doubt it will change at this point.* The earth tower's texture is going to get some work. I have to find a way to make a looping animation tho. I really like the tossing rocks animation when it fires... it has to be seen. I'll post a video as soon as the towers are all done (or close). The ice is close... the shape will remain. But I have an even better idea for the animation. I'm still working on it. The fire has the first animation done (as you can sorta see on the button). I'm still thinking about what to do with it. I have ideas for poison and electricity. But nothing concrete yet. And water... haven't even thought about it yet. Unfortunately, this weekend is pretty full for real life. I might get a few hours Saturday night and Sunday morning to work on it. I'll have more days off next weekend. *Besides being lightened up a bit... everything is dark on the iPhone screen for some reason. |
