Happy 2009 everyone!
A new year brings new resolutions. One of mine is to get the update as done as soon as possible. I appreciate all those that have stuck by my decision to do things right, and I apologize for taking as long as I have. I've done the modeling for the poison tower. It needs a few small tweaks, but I'll bet on everyone being surprised as to how it looks and how it acts. It is unlike any of the other towers so far. I'm so happy with it, that I'm going to use it as a basis for a re-done fire tower. I've sketched out the fire, water, and air towers with a friend. I was struggling with ideas, but I'm pretty happy with what we came up with. It is now just a matter of modeling them in 3ds max. I will start these this weekend when I get time. Ok, off to bed. Thanks Chad, i can't speak for everyone but I can say im happy to see you really stick with your title and spend your time on truly revamping your game. I'm excited and im sure a lot of us are. Happy New Year!

and yeah, a minor patch to fix the difficulty on some of the later levels might have been nice. But the work you are putting into this update is great. I know I'll be spending weeks/months playing the updated version
I'm going to adjust the Heavy Metal levels. Ten later ones probably not. A game should get hard. I'll probably adjust the medal goals for the last level as they are a bit brutal.
What I will do, but undecided when, is include an easy mode which would penalize by having lower scoring.
yeah, challenging is good, but the Heavy Metal level took me many tries (over 10 I think) before I found a way to win, and a few more tries to find an even more efficient win. With Steel Plated I haven't gotten past it yet. I tried a couple of the later levels on the wood tower path , and did get past the Orc Horde, but decided to wait for the update for any tweaks on these levels before continuing with the story mode. The challenges are keeping me entertained until this update is out
Will this be a free update? I've been waiting to buy until it's done. If not, do you think it will be finished by the end of January?
