Note in the picture:
Arrow: Star strike effect. Ice: Mist cloud when tower fires. Clearer ice effect. Electricity: Improved lightning. Light flash under tower when it fires. These three towers are all but done. (Poison is 95% done.) ![]() I've also done the following: Modeled the Water tower, basically a fountain that grows in complexity. Tweaked the following towers: Arrow, Ice, Electricity. Added effects for: Arrow, Ice, Electricity, Earth, Wind. Fixed a few bugs. I have the following to do (that I can remember). I plan on sending out test versions this weekend or next week. This is not set in stone. Tweak Fire, Earth, Wind, Snow, Bomb and Water models and effects. Finish tweaking Poison. Alter the interface, possible model the stained glass (doubtful). Fix the a-star bug. Fix the sound bugs. Test memory size on phone. Re-add title animation. Adjust difficulties. This might seem like a lot, but many of those items would only take a few minutes to a few hours. The hardest part is done now that I've got the towers modeled. Trackbacks

I cant stop playing it even tho I got all the golds! Its been years since I could not put a game down like this! Goldeneye I think! LoL Anyhow, I would love to help out testing in any way. I had a cracked version of this game but I bought the real one because I love it so much! Also, the app store will let me know, right away, when the update comes out! Thanks again!
I'm glad you liked the game enough to buy it. I don't have a problem when people use cracked games as trial versions. But most don't. Thanks for the confession.
Everything looks fantastic, especially the electricity. I'm dying to get my hands on this, keep me in the loop!
I hope there's no memory problems!
I've worked hard on keeping the game within the memory limits. The "Everything Dies" level loads all the enemies into memory, and if that level runs fine, the rest will.
I've re-written parts of the engine to take advantage of the PowerVR chip's compression format. This was the only way I could add 2x as large textures for both the enemies and towers. The original version even turns sound off if it gets a low-memory warning. This isn't to say that the update won't have problems running on a jailbroken phone. Those users sometimes load other things into the background that hinder very large games. But those users also tend to pirate, so I'm not that worried.
Please adjust the playback. I like to create my own maze, and that's easy until the fifth selection, when it becomes impossible. This needs to have more balance. The effects look great. I hope the gameplay is just as improved.
I've admitted the Metal levels are a bit tough. Not "impossible", just too tough too early.
These, as well as a few other levels, will definitely be adjusted down some.
Oh wow, I remember playing this game when it released and having lots of fun. But I deleted the game after playing it after 2 times. Looks like I can play the game another 2 times or even more!
