You really should be making video games for a living. As a gamer, I've paid hundreds of dollars for games that don't have the genius of your game. The sheer complexity of your game easily surpasses other defender games. It takes a pretty bright guy to design the stages you've made.
Is there any place I can send a donation? I feel that the $4 that i paid for your game is unjust. Your game is worth much more. Especially considering the hours of entertainment its given me. If you have a paypal account, i'd like to send you some money.
Aww shucks. That is ok. I did this for fun. I appreciate the offer, but I'd have to refuse.
I'm a life-time gamer. I've been playing video and computer games since 1978. This is just a small contribution back to the community.
If you really want to help, word of mouth is the best thing you can do to help. If you haven't noticed, the App Store is a complete mess. It rewards the elite games that somehow make it into the top lists (i.e. pay offs). The rest is mostly crap. Decent games like Besiegement get lost in the 95% garbage that is on there. Word of mouth helps. And if you tell a few people about the game, and they tell a few people, and so-on... just imagine. :)
(But if you really still insist, I can't stop you from sending a paypal request to my email address... But at least wait until after the update comes out! I still feel bad for releasing the game as it is in v1.0, which should be more like v0.8)
I'll be sure to tell all my friends who have iphones. And have them tell their friends. I just told my coworker to get that game for his wife's iphone. I'll wait until after the release to send you a little something. My friend who runs/owns a video game company could use someone like you. He made the Tony hawk pro skater game several years ago and now does the current generation (xbox 360, ps3, wii). I'll ask my friend if he has any industry contacts who might be able to review your game (that is if you wish). Thanks again for all the great work. I hope you end up on top of the charts where you belong.
hey chad, I've been thinking.. you like to make games and stuff like this, right? probably more than your current career/job, right?
if you get hooked up with the right people, you could ditch your current job, or at least do part time there, and have fun making games and such, while getting paid and contributing to the gaming community.
just at least consider it. I'm sure everyone agrees who has played this game. someone who can pull the best TD ever made out of their butt, being the sole developer and almost no help, belongs in the gaming industry.
Chad, I too admire your work and have tried to reach with an idea to grow distribution and differentiate you from those masses. I'm with Wizzard Media, the world's largest aggregator, host, and distributor of podcasts … actually about 1/3 of iTunes’ top 400 downloads are delivered to consumers via our platform … like Usher’s UCast, Harvard Business School, several Lifetime Networks webisodes and lots more. We currently represent 17,000 publishers, we have completed 7 acquisitions over the last 13 years, and delivered more 1.2 billion downloads in 2008 alone.

If you are sufficiently intrigued email me at jlisovitch@wizzard.tv and please let me know when would be a good time to talk and where I can ring you.
